It doesn't matter what political party is in charge. Maryland is Democratic and has a high Black homicide rate. Oklahoma is ran by Republicans (and so is OKC and Tulsa) and Oklahoma has one of the highest Black homcide rates in the USA. It also officially has the highest incarceration rate in the world. It has the death penalty too. This doesn't seem to scare gang members in North Tulsa. Doesn't seem to scare people who have severe anger problems and see violence as the solution to every problem.

Baltimore so far has recorded 435 Covid 19 cases, with 8 deaths so far. As serious as Covid-19 is, the city of Baltimore reached 73 murders by April 5, and violent crime has continued to rise in Baltimore (by comparison, Seattle has NEVER had that many murders in its entire history as a city. 69 is Seattle's record for murders). Considering more people have died from murder than Covid-19 (at least as far as Baltimore is concerned), I think there will be many who are not be concerned about Covid-19.

Only in the Democrat paradise......

Baltimore is low hanging fruit
No lie, Baltimore changed the definition of murder to reduce the murder rate statistics.

Good work-around the problem but they can't find the heads.

No lie, Baltimore police are directed by Baltimore residents to dead bodies stashed in their abandoned homes by their smell.

No lie, in 2018 the federal government delivered 18 Billion dollars to Maryland's seventh district which has a population count of 662,057, or $27,188 for every man, woman and child.

I don't get why people stand around expecting people to magically become different than what they are. When will anyone get it? They aren't going to be policed. They aren't going to work for you. They aren't going to take care of anything you give to them. When do you admit failure, start handing out free tickets and let them go?

This shows that Baltimore's problem is not a Democrat or a Republican problem. It is a Baltimore problem. You don't see this happening in Portland or Seattle. It isn't happening in Madison,WI or Denver,CO. Boston had 38 murders in 2019. It's a Baltimore problem. Baltimore is hopelessly corrupt, just as New Orleans is.

Like I said in a previous post. Baltimore's problem is not Democrats or Republicans. Baltimore is just a hopelessly corrupt city with alot of violence. Baltimore is worse than Detroit. Former mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said "let them riot" in 2015. Baltimore, and alot of other East Coast localities, have been corrupt for a long time.

The lowest that Baltimore has seen in murders in the last 40 years is 196 (back in 2011). By comparison, Seattle (which has a larger population than Baltimore) recorded 69 murders in 1994, the highest Seattle has ever had. Seattle has gotten beside itself in terms of inept politicians, but it's not Baltimore. Seattle doesn't have nearly the amount of carnage that Baltimore has. And this is with the rapid influx of people to its city.

Seattle is a Democratic city. So is Boston. So is Madison (Wisconsin). How about this. Madison and Milwaukee are in the same state. Madison had 4 murders last year. Milwaukee,

Milwaukee population: 595,351
Madison population: 255,214

Milwaukee had 98 murders in 2019. Madison had 4. Milwaukee has 2.3 times as many people as Madison, but 24.5 times as many murders. Same state, both ran by Democratic mayors. Madison is markedly safer and alot of people want to move to Madison. Milwaukee proper, on the other had, is losing population.

Seattle is a Democratic-ran city of about 730,000 people. Seattle had about 35-37 murders last year. A city larger than Baltimore, but has far fewer murders. I don't think this is a Democrat problem.

I live in Chicago and everyone knows about the endless killings here. Another Democratic city. And Madison is very small I know as I had to live there once
