China can do what they want but here in America I would say no because it would have to be proven that someone knew they were infecting people but then again this is America and anything is possible. What is that state that declared that someone with HIV could not be prosecuted for knowingly spreading that virus and of course we have the most ridiculous finding when that judge declared that the survivors from the Sandy Hook shooting can sue the gun manufacturer. We should all remember that if a drunk driver crashes into us. We can sue the alcohol company that caused him to get drunk and the car company. Both have deep pockets.
How do we tell if someone has the Corona? They might not even know themselves thinking they have the common flu, a cold or even seasonal allergies.
Yes they should, those who spread it should be prosecuted to the harshest extent. In fact the government should track the activity of those who are sick through their cell phones and virtual assistants.
A special military division should be created to keep people in their homes. The government should monitor people’s finances as to make sure the are not out violating curfew. Martial law should be declared.....military in the streets should make people obey.
Everyone should know that the state will take care of them. Private industry will be nationalized in the wake of the economic disaster caused by the virus. Everyone will have a government assured job and universal basic income will be paid. All healthcare will be taken care of.
In the interest of public safety all guns must be turned in. Subversive conversation online and in public could cause fear and panic and the government must forbid any critical views of the new government responses to the virus being expressed.
Remember this is all for our safety and well being. It’s only temporary and the government will give up most of these powers voluntarily when things are better. The government will make that determination of when to restore democracy as they see fit. Resistance will not be tolerated.
