This study is MUCH MORE CONVINCING THAN THE FAKE NEWS VIRGINIA STUDY, because it provides much greater detail on who it was administered to, when it was used, for how long, the range of severity of cases it was used in, median age, pre-existing conditions, ect.. Studies that do not divulge as much detail as this study does should be disounted.
True, this study is not a clinical trial, not peer reviewed, and hasn't been replicated.
After reading this study (and several others w/ upto 800 patients), if I got C-19, I'd be begging for this drug combo to be administered immediately.
You understand the VA study is the Veterans Administration not Virginia right?
And the VA would tend to have much better and more complete records than most places.
So here people needing the drug for Lupus have gone without to create a stir.

About 28% who were given hydroxychloroquine plus usual care died, versus 11% of those getting routine care alone. About 22% of those getting the drug plus azithromycin died too, but the difference between that group and usual care was not considered large enough to rule out other factors that could have affected survival.
Hydroxychloroquine made no difference in the need for a breathing machine, either.
