Its been that way for a while, the virus is just the latest excuse. See the wars on drugs/terrorism, patriot act,etc. for further proof.

Sure you can walk down the block by yourself for now. Do you not see how that how easily government was able to control the people without a single gun shot? Try to assemble and see what happens in California. Do you not realize that federal constitution is being violated?

Yes but this excuse let government actually lock down the public and base on replies here it seems that many are okay with it.
