Personally I would not. Freedoms dont come free.
So were it a tornado and they say shelter in place. Will you sit on your patio and watch a trump rally on tv?

If they told you men from Mars were launching space ships to come attack us so shelter in place, would you?

Wearing disposable gloves when you're out sure sounds like "buying in" to me.

Right?

Pedro, do you wear gloves in public during cold and flu season every year?

If you feel the need or desire to swim in shark infested waters, by all means do so but please remember the difference between that and our current situation is you'll be the only one harmed by your foolishness.

When it's a bad flu season, I wear them to grocery stores, yes.

It's one of the reasons I already had them.

If they said I could only venture out to get groceries, and I wanted to drive to the beach and go for a walk, I would.

I'm seeing people of all generations going outside in large groups. In FL it was the millennials and generation Z who were packing the beaches like sardines. One idiot that was interviewed said COVID was no big deal.

Yesterday, the news showed the Tidal Basin and the crowds (though smaller than usual) out viewing the cherry blossoms. In that crowd, were people of different generations, different races and different ethnicities. They all are idiots.

To single out one generation when it comes to such stupidity is grossly unfair.
