What good is shutting down the economy and impoverishing people going to do? When the GDP declines, the standard of living and life expectancy tends to decline with it. Poor people have less access to adequate medical care and treatment, regardless of the type of disease.

And don't knock Trump for sleeping. He works harder on his worst days than the last guy did on his best.
Awww poor fella

There was no travel ban. It restricted Chinese tourism, nothing more.

US people and legal residents and their families , students, business people, dignitaries etc were not denied entry.

The party or ideology opposing a president’s or party criticize. So what?

As it relates to Corona, seems Trump bet the farm the travel RESTRICTION would spare the US. Wasted nearly 2 months that could have been spent developing and executing a very basic contingency plan to make sure front line healthcare workers had personal protection equipment and test kits.

So here we are with hospitals, states and the Federal Government competing for and in some cases bidding yo the price of very basic resources.

When one of the top Trump fan boys, Brit Humes/ Fox News says of Trump’s response, “ meandering, vague, boastful and misleading” there’s a problem.

On 2/ 27 trump acknowledged 15 cases in the US, “soon to be zero”.

On 3/6 Trump said “ if you want a test, you can get a test” within minutes of Pence saying “ we don’t have enough tests” maybe Trump was talking about pregnancy tests.

Don't blame Trump. He maybe the POTUS, but he is not God.

Blame the ****ing entitled idiots who do not stay home because they think they are not "high risks" like those kids on spring break in Florida. We also have a few idiots right here on C-D with that same mentality.

Criticism of the lack of leadership in this crisis is valid. Brit Humes is just doing his job and calling it as he see's it.

You think Fox News is a fan of trumps? Remember the hit piece on him they did while he was a candidate? They tried to take him out then but failed. They may present a more conservative front than other MSM but don’t mistake that for being in Trump’s corner. They are owned by one of the wealthiest men in the world who is also part of the swamp. Trump is not part of the establishment and thier support of him is thin.

Brit Hume has rightly been critical of Trump when he feels it's warranted.

Hey, it takes a lot of work to create the fantasies he tells as if they're somehow connected with reality compared to the last guy simply telling the truth. .

But is this really the sole responsibility of the federal government? Are the feds responsible for any hospitals outside of VA facilities?

And be honest: in mid-January were you alarmed about the coronavirus, and talking about how we're going to have to start taking drastic measures to curb this? Did you really see this coming?
