Ironic, but true. From incompetent to leadership, NY has someone. From incompetence to further incompetency, the country has no leadership.

The virus is real, the delayed response is fake, as noted above. The necessity of a lockdown is up for debate, also as noted above. Either way, many will lose. The left's inability to acknowledge anything that Trump does as positive is shameful.

The leaders of Germany and England are saying the same thing. With or without a lockdown.
For starters, Trump should not have dissolved the US Pandemic Response Team.

Second, he should not have cut funding to the CDC.

Third, he should have used the WHO test kits instead of wasting valuable time trying (and failing) to develop his own test kits.

Fourth, when Italy and Iran exploded, that should have been his cue that this thing is going to hit us hard. Instead he called it a MSM scare story.

Fifth, he should have addressed the pandemic instead of focusing on rate cuts and tax cuts. No one bought his gimmick, the market dropped thousands of points.

Sixth, he absolutely SHOULD NOT have appeared on TV to address the crisis looking overwhelmed, nervous, dumbfounded, and gave out false information.

Seventh, he should not appoint some science-denying, no experience, incompetent fool to head the coronavirus response.

Eighth, he should not be falling asleep during important coronavirus briefing.

Things he is STILL NOT DOING:

1. Preach the wearing of face masks
2. Try to test as many as possible
3. Deliver medical supplies to the hard hit areas.
4. Impose a lockdown.

All of these things are going to happen, the only difference is how much time Republicans waste before they see the light.

.

Trump doesn't personally make medical supplies, at least to my knowledge. So what is he supposed to do? Seize them from private businesses and individuals? That's not the role of government. We have an economy that provides more than enough of these supplies, but we have too many greedy people hording them and creating shortages of things, including medical supplies desperately needed by our hospitals and their staff.

The risk of what? What risk did Trump say was low?

Most presidents are inconsistent and indecisive at times. Especially when they do not have all the facts and don't fully understand what they are dealing with. I doubt Trump has spent or invested much time learning about viruses throughout his life. Do you think Biden or Hillary would have any more of a clue? Most people voted for him because of the economy, not because we thought he would be a great leader if we ever encountered a once in a century rouge virus.

I disagree that he has been a horrible leader. Go look at what they dealt with in China and get back to me. Get back to me when the police are showing up at your door because you spoke ill of Trump's handling of this. Then we can talk about how bad you have it with Trump's leadership.

Hindsight is always 20/20. And you are a confirmed TDS sufferer, so Trump literally can do no good. He could cure cancer, and you would be whining about all the doctors he's going to put out of work. I'm sure you nodded you head in approval when Biden said Trumps planned travel bans from China we racist. But somehow, he did not do enough.

No rational person living in reality fell for his gimmick, that is.

The delayed response is a fact. You are not talking to a dunce. For starters...why were the WHO tests refused by the orange guy?

Like clockwork, another TDS thread.

There should have been pandemic contingencies put in place from previous administrations, knowing another pandemic would be inevitable.

You know, millions of beds, millions of doctors and nurses, millions of hospitals, millions of face masks and ventilators, etc.

Why weren’t we ready before Trump? Yeah I thought so! Y’all Trump haters should just shut your damn mouth and stop pointing fingers. Crybabies lol

It's awfully sobering that even Trump doesn't claim that the response to this virus is a "hoax" anymore...

yet a bunch of his supporters on here still claim that it is a "democrat" strategy to remove Trump.

I know, they are truly a sick and hateful group. I'm so looking forward to Trump winning reelection in November.
