I consider myself extremely fortunate to be wealthy,healthy and with a ton of cash waiting to dive in to the markets when this brouhaha has cooled down.

The irony of someone coming on to a thread asking people to stop snivelling about Coronavirus and then proceeding to have a good snivel anyway.

You haven't been paying attention, not only are people complaining about sitting at home they're also complaining about people who don't for whatever reason.
My only complaint is the damaging misinformation dispensed by Trump and right-wing pundits that only made this epidemic worse.
Nearly two months of downplaying Corona could have been better spent developing and executing a contingency plan to minimally ensure front line healthcare workers and first responders had adequate personal protection equipment. The 2 Navy Mercy ships could have been put on notice to ready for deployment. Then there’s the test kits and ventilators.
Instead, on 3/6 Trump told the media “ if you want a test, you can get a test” within minutes of Pence announcing “ there are not enough tests”.
Now states, hospital healthcare systems and the Federal Government are scrambling and competing for the same. resources

We got Pence hopping AF2 this week to Mn to meet with 3M to increase production of masks. . Joe Blow in Purchasing could have done this in January.
We now listen to Trump tell us he’s now a war time president and we are supposed to applaud him for a challenge his own inaction made worse, by inaction. Yeah, look over there, it’s the Chinese Virus.

The risks being experienced on the front line of healthcare are very real.

You're blaming your government.You're blaming the shops.You're blaming anyone you can.

Your government is doing the best it can to cope with an unprecedented global pandemic that no-one could have predicted.
We're all in the same boat and unless you're currently in an ICU fighting for every breath with a raging temperature there is always someone a lot worse off than you are now.
During the Second World War millions of people spent five years with virtually no food while being bombed and shot at and not knowing if their husbands,sons and fathers were being killed and they didn't do half the snivelling that you are doing now.
It is not a hardship to sit on your sofa watching TV and ordering stuff off Amazon.
