Nope. Nope. Nope.
That's exactly what they want though. And they want you to do it 'for the good of everyone'. Just hold your nose and think of England. That is the definition of ... either hostage taking of blackmail, I'm not sure which one fits better.

So, if corporates go out of business, how are people going to get a job?

I hope you won't have to make that choice.

They are in business and people don't have jobs. Sod them. They are fat with cash that they STOLE from workers that they have been stiffing wage wise for decades. Make them spend some on something other than their investors!

Let corporations use the big tax cuts they got last year to bail themselves out. If they gave it away to the C-suite I guess they'll just have to get it back from them for the good of the corporation. Maybe all the executives could take a few million dollar cut in pay for a while. No new yachts or vacation homes or private jets for them for a year or two. We all have to sacrifice.

Why should Americans bail them out again when we just gave them billions in tax cuts? If they were irresponsible with that money that's on them, not us.

Maybe the priority should be on beating the virus rather than stuffing everyone's pockets full of money just to make the politicians look good.

I totally agree. However if what Mc Connell says is true the dems are just as much at fault with them trying to address aspects of the green new deal in this Bill with money going to solar panel companies.
