Trump instituted a travel ban to/from China in very early February against the the objections of many and then howls of racism from Democratic politicians. The WHO and Chinese government both lied and parroted the Chi Com disinformation that there was no evidence of human to human transmission of the virus in mid January so if anyone in our government covered it up it was the Chinese government and Democratic politicians and their sycophants in the media pushing Chinese communist party propaganda screaming Trump is racist for his travel ban.
For the 11,000,000,000th time, Trump neither got rid of the U.S. pandemic task force nor did he "slash the CDC's budget. Do you guys EVER get tired of lying your asses off?

how can I go to the store and get milk/bread/meat/vegi's if I am sheltering in place....

is the government now going to take over the store and deliver necessities to the people being mandated to shelter in place
Obviously you do not understand it. Shelter in place allows you to go to work if you work at a supermarket, or are getting groceries.
same for drs offices, pet supplies, and other things that you NEED.
