This virus will affect even those in government who are insulated from tragedies the rest of us often endure.

He should be fine like the overwhelming number of people who test positive. Meanwhile, Democrats are refusing to pass a stimulus package to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 hysteria they wanted and created:

Very good that Congress has voted itself a special special health plan coverage and that there is a doctor on duty in Congress.

He's the preck who held up the relief bill for millions of Americans - free testing for the rest of us not just him among it.

That's a pretty ignorant thing to say.

Senator Rand Paul has tested positive for COVID-19. He is feeling fine and is in quarantine. He is asymptomatic and was tested out of an abundance of caution due to his extensive travel and events. He was not aware of any direct contact with any infected person. He expects to be back in the Senate after his quarantine period ends and will continue to work for the people of Kentucky at this difficult time. Ten days ago, our D.C. office began operating remotely, hence virtually no staff has had contact with Senator Rand Paul.
LOL

No symptoms and no contact with a known case yet he still took a test breaking the recommended protocol by the precious government he is a servant to.

I love how the press release is so defensive knowing that this scenario is against Paul's "character".
