I doubt it. Hillary would have bowed to political correctness and kept all borders open. She also would have encouraged "hug a Chinese day" to prove we are not racist.

With a Hillary presidency, the media would be: downplaying the virus, information about the virus would be buried, the media would not be ramping up hysterics, school, events, sports would not be canceled. And just just like with H1N1 when Obama was president,

The mass shutdowns of business, schools and other things likely wouldn't have happened.

Yeah because like H1N1, the virus would not get much coverage

Well look - the unfair trading would have continued... Huawei would still be stealing technology freely... Hong Kong protests - who knows... it's a whole different environment if HRC is president.

Hillary could have done no wrong. She would have had a complete handle on this. CNN and MSNBC would have held her up like a glowing example of American exceptionalism.

Trump did EVERYTHING wrong. He is gutter swine. CNN and MSNBC wants to make sure you know this....

Blah Blah Blah.... The mortality rate for the H1N1 was 0.02% in the USA. The current estimates for Covid-19 range from about 1% to 3%...significantly higher. And it is also more contagious.

It was designed to be a chain reaction to cause killer viruses to emerge quicker than any vaccine production could keep up with.

Giving Trump credit for a travel ban is like congratulating an 8 year old for reaching for an ice cream cone....Of course, he is going to do that.

Other than that one correct decision he has bungled this whole mess.

In the meantime, we lost precious time as Trump downplayed the threat and significance of the virus...the only thing that got his attention was a tanking stock market.

Because of Trump’s negligence, we lost a critical 2 months of response time...that is critical and that time should have been used for testing, producing more N95 masks and ventilators, etc.
