What a lot of people don’t seem to get is that if this virus hits you hard, it’s not like you go to the hospital for 3 days and you’re cured. If you don’t die within a few days, you’re going to spend WEEKS in the hospital. Eventually the people pouring in is going to eclipse the people leaving, and at that point, we turn into an Italy.

We can take over as many stadiums as we want, but without ventilators, those are just going to be hospice beds. I hate to say that, but it comes down to the equipment more than the space.
You are so correct. The other thing many people do not realize is when they put you on a ventilator, it means a tube goes down your throat and oxygen is forced into your lungs, for 3 weeks or more until you get better or die.

Where did you see that? NY has 26,000. Louisiana has 1388.

It is irresponsible for a POTUS to give medical advise and really goofy for anyone to act on it.

The largest hospital in Georgia, Grady, is at capacity for their ICU already. The hospital in Albany, a smaller city in south Georgia, has not only filled their ICU but also their makeshift ICU they created for overflow. https://www.11alive.com/article/news...a-0c2577b79801

But we're prepared, right?

Kind of misleading.

That hospital was already down 200 beds because of flooding in 2019.

It's been posted in this thread already.

Really no idea? Even after the wife was interviewed and explained how the got the idea?

Trump has medical professionals and scientists on stage. He should leave explaining chloroquine to them.

I heard an interview with the wife who is still alive. She said they heard Trump talk about that drug. They thought it would prevent them from getting the virus. So they took a very large amount (I don't remember the numbers) and basically overdosed on it. They weren't even sick.

When Trump talks in his word salad style, people pick up bits and pieces and then come to their own stupid conclusions. Words matter. Trump needs to shut up and let the doctors do the talking.

Well why let the facts get in the way of politicizing something?
