High temperatures in the 70s and low 80s and lows of 55-60 degrees coming and they are scrambling to warehouse people and make them sick rather than spread them out in parks with tents.

They should spread them out in the parks with nice tents a good quality $30 air mattress and some pillows, patrols and healthy cheap food for their immune system rather than trying to make them sick.

I almost think that Eric Garcetti is trying to make the homeless very sick with Chinese-based Pneumonia with hospitalization rates in excess of 10%.

Similar to NYC and DeBlasio who wants as many inmates to catch this virus so they go back to shelters and housing projects and spread it when they leave the jail.

Scrambling to stuff 6,000 people into 42 dirty city-owned buildings with 1,600 staff workers with a fiasco.

They should just provide them with the very best tents, nice air mattresses and healthy food and spread them out in city parks and have patrols. It is going to be in the 70s and 80s during the day and near 60 at night.

They should provide lots of cleaning supplies also and spread people 100+ feet out. Elysian and Griffith Park would be perfect.

Everything the government is doing during this "pandemic" is a total fiasco.

What is the mayor of LA doing trying to make 6,000 people in an envioronment wheree many will come down with Pneumonia that was spread from China?

If only there was some type of device that keeps buildings cool. One can only dream...

I don’t necessarily disagree with that idea. In many cities like Seattle it would be a bad idea, but in Southern California it might not be. But then again, there may be logistical advantages to being in a building vs in a park. If every patient in the building has already been confirmed to have the coronavirus it may not matter as much if they spread it to each other.

If they were housing patients there who didn’t have it, that would be a big problem.
