I guess every governor in every state should ask for 40,000 ventilators in “anticipation”.

This frontline TDS doc is claiming there isn’t enough ventilators when you clearly see them in her video put off to the side. Why isn’t she using them? smh

Except that testing (a girl of 16 died three days ago in France) is only - if - right on the second it was taken.

You can get it a few hours after still.

Find fun as to not make confinement too difficult and keep safe.

I find it selfish that hes asking the government/nation for all the avail ventilators when he hasn’t came close to using up his stock pile. And positive corona cases are starting to slow down a bit in the state.
So what ? What even if we was wrong ? Does it mean it's not needed ? Do these lives not matter ?

ETA : this is not a political issue !!! take care people!

We (Oklahoma) are behind the curve on testing because people aren't getting sick yet. I think we have enough test kits for now.

The thing that happened here is our right wing republican governor goes out to eat with his family and then goes out the next day telling everybody they need to get out and do things and support business.

Then the VERY NEXT DAY he implemented restrictions.

We should sell the extra ventilators to other countries to help offset our costs.

Tell that to this doc; she’s the one making it political.

I am curious to know what he thinks needs to be done, or can be done....hospital shortage, doctor shortage, nurse shortage

NYC (public) hospitals have been closing left and right over the last few years....

Greenpoint Hospital (Brooklyn)(where I was born), has been turned into affordable housing

Kew Gardens Hospital (just across in queens) closed also

Then Mayor Mike Bloomberg (D) in an effort to cut the city's $1.2 billion budget gap in the next year's budget by laying off about 500 workers and ending contracts with "a significant number" of physicians

this is from back in January....

here is a good article/opinion on why hospitals (nationwide) are not well prepared for this

He wouldn’t need anywhere near that many if he Didn’t screw up badly along with De Blasio. Now due to their lack of leadership they want to take resources away from other states. I feel bad for the citizens of NY.
