I know many will consider it to be TDS, but if it pans out like this, and I think it will to some extent, his supporters will be exposed as the ones who really have "TDS". The only question is, at what point to they realize and admit it.

This article takes everything we've actually seen, and shows why he is so dangerous right now, as our POTUS.
NEVER. It's a cult. They have been trained for decades to be victims. Nothing is ever Trump's fault or Republicans. Everything is always liberals and Democrats fault. Trump is a messiah. Always bow down to him. Don't think for yourself. Just listen and follow.

See this all the time on CD. All of the Trump cult here post the same exact talking points from Fox News and right wing rag websites. Keep repeating and it becomes "truth"

I am as anti-Trump as anyone. That said, I am not sure I agree with the entire gist of the piece. Yes, the author is right that Trump is a "fountain" of misinformation and a self-aggrandizing con-man.

But here is what is going in his favor:

1) his poll numbers are actually rising and his approval ratings are hitting the highest in his presidency. People tend to rally to the President during times of crisis (justified or not). I still think he is atrocious but others apparently not.

2) While we don't know for certain how this whole crisis will turn out, CNN ran a story this morning quoting several Epidemiologists who think the worst of this could be behind of us in 3 weeks. That is, they think US deaths from Covid-19 COULD peak within 3 weeks. So the economy could open up at some point after that.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/25/healt...ist/index.html

Assuming those projections are right (of course, they could be wrong) and we can start to open up for business in 6 weeks or so, that gives the economy enough time to get moving again by November.

Under the above scenario, a total disaster is averted and the occupant in the White House won't be looking so bad.

Yes, that's right; "yawn," as the second poster shrugged. Yawn, you followers of the Great Impostor; yawn yourselves right into the streets, and take some good deep breaths while you're out there. Don't forget to toast each other, and share the glassware.
This is the viral tsunami the U.S. needs to jettison the lowest of the intellectual low. Party on!

It's not nice to talk that way about Democrat voters in Detroit and New Orleans.

This article is spot on. Trump's obvious character flaws are going to make this so much worse because he is incapable of admitting he was wrong in the beginning and take the necessary steps to mitigate his early mistakes. His ego simply will not allow it. And we all will be made to suffer for it.

Yes, he's ticked up all the way to 44.6%. Wow, stop the presses, he is one popular president. More than half the country continues to disapprove, but he ticked up a few points!

When he hits 51%, which is doubtful, we can revisit this discussion.

I never claimed I didn't have a side. I was responding to Oh Ghost, who did indeed claim she had no side, and then went on the say she would vote for any Democrat instead of Trump.

And you too of course have a side.

From the Federalist:

On Jan. 31, 2020, the Trump administration announced that foreign nationals who had traveled to China in the past 14 days would be denied entry into the United States. At the time, the virus — which originated in the Wuhan province — had begun to spread uncontrollably throughout the communist nation. Trump’s China travel ban reduced arrivals from the hotspot to the United States by 90 percent and “prevent[ed] more cases from China coming into the United States.”

Since then, most medical experts, as well as ordinary Americans, have viewed Trump’s prophylactic travel ban from China as a life-saving decision that slowed the spread of the Wuhan virus in the United States.

**Dr Fauchi opines this was a critical measure in curtailing the spread of My Corona in the US. ;
