Guess what she tried to shoehorn in, aside from all the new green deal crap that had nothing to do with helping Americans?

A pay raise for congress and all of their staff!!!

OMG!!! What an idiot!

Sorry for the title typo, I'm beside myself.

That’s in addition to all the other pork that had nothing to do with a bailout.
Student loan forgiveness
Diversity on corporation boards
Solar power mandates
Etc.

If it makes you feel better there was an AP story a couple of days back that actually blamed the Democrats for delaying the bill and playing partisan politics.

What they did get:

Payments to low income Americans

Big boost in unemployment benefits and extension of time eligible (Republicans tried to scuttle the bill over this)

Billions for hospitals

Billions for state and local government efforts to contain virus.

Oversight and transparency for 500 billion sludge fund to be passed out to big businesses.

NONE of that was in the lobbyist bill Senate Republicans originally tried to ram through.

Thank God for the Democrats or the working people would have seen very little of this but the bill like the recession bailouts and the tax cuts.

Democrats said the bill was horrible and help businesses... Then they say that they were responsible and claim credit .. I can't understand how anyone votes for that party... And then people come here and post BS.. like above...

All of THAT was in the original bill, fool!

Misinformation is so easy for you to spread to those who do not actually take the time to read the bills.

You haven't actually read the bills as presented. Don't even try to say you have.

WE AREN'T AS STUPID AS YOU BELIEVE US TO BE! We are certainly smarter than you.

wow, just wow. Thank god for the democrats? Like saying thank god it's only throat cancer.. I mean were you joking with the thank god part?

What happened this past weekend was a feeding frenzy for both parties and every tax payer gets to foot the bill.
