Boomers also have way more wealth and income than any other generation as well...
OMG! That's because we are older and have been working all of our lives for that wealth! We have paid the lions share of taxes only to have our government spend our treasure like drunken sailors.
Now we have people like you bashing us?
fool... bite me
At least grow up and get a clue!
I must digress. Now I understand that you are being sarcastic.
I love the next gens. I have three children in their early 30s. They get a bad rep. They are hard working kids who have a daunting future ahead. My job is to leave them more than I was left with.
Now, that said, I have no respect for the "what's in it for me" silver spoon spoiled bubble babies who are all about spending OPM while contributing absolutely nothing.
They are disgusting.
.sparrow. below - you're awesome!

I think the title of that yahoo article should be updated to: "Lazy, entitled waitress complains that someone else didn't already do her work FOR her sparks idiotic 'debate'."
I once accompanied my parents to a reunion of US Navy sailors who had served on LSTs during WWII. My Dad participated in the D-Day landing on one. They were the Greatest Generation; I am a boomer.
We were seated with a group talking and having snacks one afternoon, which resulted in an accumulation of glasses and small plates. The snacks were self serve, but there were waitstaff busing the tables. One lady started stacking the plates. Our waiter jokingly said not to do that - it was his job. The plate stacker could not help herself and did it again, which gained her the admonishment, "Mom, don't do that!" That caused quite a stir at nearby tables. Everyone at the table was white, he was black, and the neighbors had missed the earlier byplay. A good laugh was shared by all, and "Mom" left the plates alone.
Not all of us boomers are messy slobs, but I do not stack plates, though I tip well. I remember that afternoon in Memphis.
So dumb, but this is the age of grandstanding on social media.
Using one example of plate stacking to compare two separate generations? I've never stacked plates like that, it's not my freaking job. Certainly I am considerate and don't leave a huge mess but not for me to stack plates in a restaurant.
My wife was a waitress for a while, it goes something along the lines of;
Older people, boomers included, tip, maybe not always good, not always great, but they are the least likely to stiff you.
Younger people, as in the 18 year old, 20 year old crowd, are most likely to not only stiff you on the tip, but also stay at the table for a longer time.
This is why for example in Miami when large events with younger people come to town, like Ultra music festival, all the restaurants charge an automatic 18% gratuity, because so many young people will just not pay it.
The waitress fails to mention who left the bigger tip.
She should just be thankful that Boomers are leaving
a few extra bucks more than anybody else. It's the dang
poor dish washer in the back that gets stuck washing them.............
boomers love to leave things a mess and then think their bucks will make up for being a ****ty human
old logic sucks
