Andrea Mitchell, of MSNBC, says:

"We're also seeing some polls indicating the president's approval rating among Democrats and independents skyrocketing to their highest levels yet -- to some 60 percent approval ratings for the way he's handling this crisis as he continues to hold these briefings," she said, referring to Trump's daily briefings on his response to the pandemic.

"The briefings are working for the president. No matter what he says, people seem to be seeing him as a leader -- at least more people do."

Really a remarkable number, especially in the context of the 24/7 smear campaign that Democrats and the media have been waging for 3+ years.

Thats the same all over the world and throughout history. No matter how incompetent a leader is, the leader always gets an initial boost during a national crisis.

Only silly people believe it would be different in America.

But if we actually look at the reality, these figures are always temporary. People quickly change their tune after the initial shock.

Its amazing how much approval you can buy with $6 trillion.

Its hard to find people who don't approve hand-outs. The more money you give them, the happier they are. Who says money can't buy happiness?

Your Gallup poll has him at 49%, not 60%.

The president has been on top of this since the beginning, his numbers should be higher, regardless of the far left lies. I like how they've completely backed away from the China travel ban and screaming that it was racist. They are hopelessly clueless and the ratings gap for FOX continues to grow over CNN and MSNBC. They're simply not credible News sources. It's really sad to see what CNN has turned into.
