And I know Bush would not say to New York, "you don't need 30,000 ventilators." Bush has a down home compassionate side to him that would have resonated well with many. Trump is toxic, he leads by insults and fear.
So Bush is smarter than all current world leaders? Since every country has been affected by the virus. Many might be wiped out by it like Italy

Trump: Jan 21, 42%. Today, 46%. +4%

Conclusion: George Bush was far, far more effective at providing leadership that rallied Americans to his side. Trump's leadership has been sorely lacking by comparison. Bush was able to bring nearly all Democrats and Independents over to his side, united in one cause. Trump has not.

You haven’t included the effects of TDS. Democrats were talking about impeachment of Trump prior to him residing in the White House.

Another worthless thread.

People are fickle, so are polls. Bush had the highest approval rating in history and also the lowest since Nixon.

Suddenly, Bush is Mr. Intelligent Man of Action. I guess nobody remembers the media reaction when this happened...

All of a sudden now Bush was a great role model in a time of crisis! The left hated him when he was president. LOL!

The left is so damn shameless in just about every category.
