RI is doing very well in terms of relatively low cases. More power to them.

As far as what is legal to do and what is not, that's past my pay grade but Trump bootlicker DeSantis is stopping cars at the GA/FL lines and elsewhere and looking for certain license plates.

The fact is - personal experience here. I sold my RI condo to a couple from midtown NYC this month (they had started the purchase way before this hit). I am 100% certain they have escaped up there. Having them checked is a very fair thing to do because likely they are very reasonable and don't want to spread it.....

I'm not answering the poll. In terms of "science", let alone decency, DeSantis should be taking actions here by the boatload and he is not. So science has zero to do with it.

Since RI is somewhat at "lands end" it is possible they could hold off (flatten) for longer than most places could and that is a good move for all involved.

Uh, try to stop thinking about brown people so much - there is a big problem going on among white people....and all legal Americans.

Try, at least...

Cuomo is an arrogant jerk.
Maybe if he had done a better job of NOT letting this thing out of his state we wouldn't be where we are now.
What the hell should he care if RI bans NY'ERS?
He should focus on cleaning up the mess his state started.

The latest scientific study seems to indicate that by early March most new US infections across the country were caused by people traveling to and from NYC.

Does Cuomo have blood on his hands for threatening to sue anyone who blocked travel of New Yorkers into their state?

Personally, I congratulate Rhode Island's governor for understanding how science works while Cuomo talked about the lack of inclusivity by restricting the travel of New Yorkers into other states as if viruses care about PC terms like inclusivity.
