This just goes to prove how phony and dangerous self-serving virtue signalers are,
Hang on here - -you are mixing it up.

Criticism of Trump is not because he didn't implement social distancing sooner.

Criticism of Trump is because he dismissed the potential severity of the virus and did not effectively plan for the worst case scenarios (which is a normal and expected process of crisis management).

This is not the same thing at all.

It is comparing apples to onions

Once it was identified by health experts the need for social distancing to mitigate the spread, everyone was on board..

Probably due to "Stockholm's syndrome" I presume?

This is about Pelosi. How serious is she taking the virus when she is inviting people to Chinatown of all places. How moronic is that?

Trump cancelled travel from China the same day the WHO declared the CV a worldwide health emergency. The admin, read Birx and Fauci, were waiting for more complete data from the WHO before they presented courses of action for a decision. You can't act any faster than that without a crystal ball. Why do we keep having to retell this same thing over and over? Your lack of planning narrative is a complete failure. When will you people learn this?

I suppose it's completely loss on you that your attempt to smear Pelosi is actually casting a REALLY bad light on Trump.

Let's review what you posted - it literally says that by Feb 24 people knew how serious this virus is and were avoiding Chinatown in droves. Now, you can debate the merit of avoiding Chinatown, but one thing is for certain - people knew and they were scared. People don't stop going to a destination like Chinatown unless they were really, really, really taking things seriously.

And yet even as late as early March, Trump and the right-wing were still calling this pandemic a hoax. Mind you, they didn't call the virus a hoax, but they called the severity a hoax (calling it not a crisis and that it's under control).

That just shows how pathetic the GOP handled the crisis. How is it possible that people in San Francisco knew weeks ahead of the president on the biggest situation we faced since WWII??? This means any yahoo you pull off the street of SF would do a better job than Trump.

.

Wow, Trump did a whole one thing right!!

The failure to get test kits available quickly will kill over a 100,000 Americans. But let’s make sure only the other guy is to blame.

Like when Sully landed the plane in the Hudson. He did a whole one thing right. And like Trump, that one thing had an enormous impact. Your narrative is a failure. Globalism is a failure, Open borders is a failure, leftism .... is a failure.

Early on in March I made a trip to a friend's brewery to support her during this social distancing time. We stayed six feet back, they disinfected the bar, etc....

Hindisight -- it wasn't the best.

now that I know how easily it spreads, I wish I hadn't risked my friend's or others health.

The difference is -- we aren't talking just about the social distancing.

The planning that should have been done should have not included just all the possible scenarios but also supplies needed, distribution of supplies, contacting Governors and informing them to start some serious planning, etc.

Even with his trip to the CDC -- which was totally wrong now looking back, Trump was minimizing the virus.

This thread isn’t about Trump

It’s about the people you claim should replace him

Why are you deflecting?
