The Florida governor needs to get his act together.

Weird he says he needs Trumps persmission in order to issue a stay at home order.

Why can't he issue one himself? Is Trump his master? If you can issue one yourself, then DO IT.

Trump just said DeSantis is doing a tremendous job, he hasn't done much of anything and left it up to the mayors and counties, that is why the beaches were open less than 2 weeks ago.

Yes, I can see that. I am more interested in pre-existing medical conditions though. All we seem to have on that are anecdotes.

Default McConnell: Impeachment distracted government from coronavirus threat.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Tuesday blamed the Democrats’ push to impeach President Trump in January for distracting the Trump administration from the threat posed by the coronavirus.

“It came up while we were tied down in the impeachment trial. And I think it diverted the attention of the government because everything every day was all about impeachment,” McConnell said in an interview on “The Hugh Hewitt Show.”

Trump has come under sharp criticism for the nation’s slow response to the spreading pandemic, especially for the shortage of coronavirus testing kits when the virus first spread to the United States.

More than 160,000 Americans have tested positive for COVID-19 and more than 3,000 people have died from the virus in the country.

McConnell told Hewitt that he has not heard any new reports about senators being diagnosed with coronavirus.

Trump has taught his boy McConnell how to pass the buck.

Trump is his master. Really. He's a empty suit...and, of course, Trump is a suit full of the wrong stuff.

The two don't really go well together. DeSantis listens for the Dog Whistles and uses Florida as the petri dish for the Trump "human experiments".

No he doesn't. He's deflecting. Afraid to "be the man in charge" ??? Some wimpy governor he is.

I'm pretty proud of my governor (SC). He's issuing EO's every day shutting things down because people won't obey the guidelines. Yesterday was the beaches. Today is all non essential businesses.

This is because we're fully in 'Stage Four'

Quote:
Stage Four: It’s happening here, and it might turn out to be a problem, but it’s best to address the developing crisis haphazardly rather than at a coordinated federal level.
& calling this President out on his consequential failure as leader? Enter 'Stage Five':

Stage Five: Uh-oh.

The president and congressional leaders are expected to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.

okay - and you think to this day there are 10% of Americans (or 45% if you'd like to claim "Trump supporters") who are wondering "Why is this overblown virus keeping me from going to a rally?"

the American people have generally stepped up to the plate, and based on what their Governors have done, and the advice that came out 17 days ago, which was "about" the same time as my state for example. Whose governor is a Progressive Democrat.
