doubt it, there was much more vitriol towards Hillary Clinton 16....Sanders will close ranks with Biden...some of his non-voters won't vote in 2020. They will be a much smaller faction this cycle.

So Steney Hoyer or (gasp!) someone else like AOC would become President when Trump's term expires?

Yup.

I participated in the last presidential caucus in Washington state in the Seattle area. Bernie Sanders was by far the most popular candidate, it was clear early on that he would easily win the caucus. The real division was between the majority of participants who were willing to support Clinton if Sanders didn't get the nomination, and a minority of participants who said they would cross party lines to vote for Trump. Those folks have clearly not changed their minds.

Deja Vu all over again. Same thing happened in 2016. Remember?

In case anyone needed to know, Bernie Sanders isn't a Democrat. He's a Soft-Communist Independent who caucuses with Democrats. There's a lot of variation among the Bernie Bros, with a lot of your, "Burn it all down! The Revolution is now comrades!" extremists lurking in there somewhere. The more moderate Democrats have been trying like crazy to hug a porcupine and bring these weirdos into their party. It was always a bad idea. These people want their revolution and they want it now. If they can't have their great Communist leader, of course they're gonna burn it all down and vote Trump out of spite.

I can actually understand Sanders supporters/voters, even though I do not agree with their positions.

A vote for Biden is a vote for a corrupt Washington insider who will continue with "business as usual" in Washington.

Biden has already shown that he can be bought by foreign governments, which does not bode well for the nation. As with Clinton, such actions can have long lasting consequences for the nation. We will be paying for generations for the mistakes of NAFTA and China trade policies, as well as the diversion of military secrets to the Chinese.

You realize if that happens then Trump and Pence's term is up regardless and Nancy Pelosi will be the acting President.

We will all be paying for Trump's deficit and waste of a bull market for years and years to come. Just like we did for "W" Bush.

BTW - like him or not - Clinton was the last president to actually run a balanced budget. He left the country (and the world) in very good shape.

Also no Sanders supporter I know would vote for Trump - not vote at all sure they all seem to hate the POTUS.
