Since there is no Constitutional requirements for Americans to vote, the States are free to nominate the electoral college, who will then elect the president, which in this case would be Trump, since 30 of all States happen to be red.
The election could also be done by the Supreme Court, who would no doubt elect Trump.
Or maybe no elections at all, in which case Trump & Pence would have to step aside in Jan 2021. Nancy Pelosi is 3rd in line, but her term ends in Jan 5th 2021, in which case the 4th in line becomes president. The 4th in line is the pro tempore of the Senate, who is 87 yr old Chuck Grassley.
There is also "contingent election" where the House elects president, and Senate elects VP, but there is no way this admin would allow that to happen with Dems controlling the House.
Or our esteemed officials could get with the 21st century and at least let all American citizens vote by mail.

"The things they had in there were crazy," Trump said of the voter protection and expansion proposals in the bill. "They had things—levels of voting that, if you ever agreed to it, you'd never have a Republican elected in this country again."

The stimulus package presented by the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives included several provisions that would require states to expand options for voters to safely cast ballots.
The bill would have mandated that states offer 15 days of early voting prior to every election, allow voters to request an absentee ballot without an excuse, and send a mail-in ballot to every voter in an emergency situation where holding in-person elections would be logistically unfeasible or dangerous.
But Republicans in Congress accused Democrats of using the crisis specifically to pass their own pet projects through Congress. Some, like GOP Congressman Thomas Massie, even argued the expanded voting access measures would be "the end of our Republic as we know it."

Right. Trump is not going to allow remote voting, because too many people would vote, and that would put him out of the office. Minimal turnout, or no elections at all favors him.
We can hold the election any time before Jan 20. The November date was to give the incoming president enough time to get his Administration lined up. We can easily push it back a few weeks, until December.

Why don't you focus your energy on winning the states you need to win in 2020, rather than playing fantasy games about the electoral college stepping in?
If Democrats lose in 2020, this virus now gives them the convenient "out" for them. Suppression! Depression of votes! People were afraid! ICE was coming after our voters! Russia! China! Whatever excuse.
You will learn nothing in 2020, just like you learned nothing in 2016. The fact that Joe Biden is your presumptive nominee demonstrates that fact. For the party of the supposed intellgentsia of America, you guys sure are dumb sometimes. I guess that's what happens when you build a party coalition based on squabbling minority groups, all jumping over themselves to decide who is the most oppressed. Tokyo 2020 is cancelled, but the oppression Olympics being run by the Democrats is ramping up for the pre-election season.
As much as Americans like sports, you haven't figured out yet that they aren't really into those games you play. Even if you enjoy them.
If there's ever a "vote by mail" system it will take years to perfect to avoid fraud. It's not happening in 6 months, so get off it.
