He does. And he knows it. And it bugs him. Graydon Carter called Trump a 'short-fingered vulgarian' and Trump sent him pictures of himself with his hands circled for the next 25+ years.

He said Mexicans are rapists!
One of those things that no one is ever going to change their opinion about. People have varying degrees (from 'zero to 11') that they think he should be raked over the coals for that, and opinions aren't going to change

He said Nazis are "good people"!
This is one where Trump supporters really have a valid bone to pick. If you dissect what Trump said, and when he said it, all in chronological order, in great detail (which I did, and posted about it), Trump was not saying that Nazis are "good people"

He went bankrupt.
Concerning bankruptcies specifically, I've always thought this was a silly criticism of Trump. His ratio of bankruptcies to total entities that he's owned is low, and the 'how can a casino go bankrupt' poke is silly as well. Trump might have been the worst offender and the least honorable, but other casinos in the area went bankrupt during the same era.

No tax returns.
This is only a valid criticism because of the promise he made to release them. I think he should have refused to release them and let the chips fall where they may politically. But instead, he did promise to release them, and has not honored that promise.

His Twitter feed hurt my feelings!
Like the comment about Mexicans, this is one of those things that no one is ever going to change their opinion on.

Same reason why Democrats always try to sneak the word "Democracy" in whenever they can......and have to be reminded that we're a Constitutional Republic.

They think if they keep repeating it often enough that people will believe it's relevant when it's not.
Nope.

You haven't read enough of my posts.

Hillary losing didn't get under my skin. I can't stand Hillary, have felt that way since '92, would never vote for her, dislike her even more than I dislike Trump, am not a Democrat, and I think criticism of Hillary can be quite entertaining.

Everything isn't 'Us vs. Them'.

Dislike of Trump is probably one of the few things Seacove and I would agree upon.

You're right. I'm not going to give it a rest. But it's not Trump specific.

I think that being elected POTUS is the greatest privilege we can bestow upon a citizen and that it is not only the right of the citizenry but the responsibility of the citizenry to hold the POTUS' feet to the proverbial fire/hold the POTUS accountable, irrespective of party.

As Harry Truman said "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen"

Seacove lives in the Seattle area, and there may be a stronger correlation there re education and income than in many other parts of the country (IDK for sure, I've never looked at it), but the New York Times divided the 2016 Election exit polls into six income categories (income only, not education) and Trump won the top four, and Hillary won the bottom two.

I do know it's costly to live out there, I have relatives that live there. And the people I mentioned in my post , including my wife and I all make well over that $75k mark but under $300k which is probably lower middle class out there. Here in MI one can live pretty well on that income.
And oddly enough, the majority of us just HS diploma's, only a few have degrees.

I'm usually put in that "Trump supporter" box, and I'm not personally getting a check.

We're going to apply for the small business grant, though. It will likely save the jobs of all but one or two critical employees.

You don't need to dissect anything. You just need to find the original, complete footage of the speech he said it in, find the spot where he used the term "very fine people," and listen for about another 60 seconds.

Really, it's that simple. He was undeniably taken out of context and claimed to have said something he didn't, and it takes very, VERY little effort to confirm that.

It's one of the best examples of the "fake news" problem there is, for precisely that reason. It's a black & white situation, and the media straight-up lied.

I'm baffled by this. Do you mean the tax break meant to enrich his cronies? It didn't help us. We were better off under Obama. How about the reversing the regulations on clean air and water. Is that a good idea? I like clean water and air, do you? Yes he's fought hard for American's, but only for a small segment, not the whole.

Are you happy about the economy now? The lack of response that let this pandemic rage out of control here? The lies about it that cost us valuable time?

Seriously, read about how the CDC responded to the 2003 SARS epidemic that nearly became a pandemic but was stopped dead in 3 months with no American casualties, and then compare the response today. It's flagrantly obvious the difference in the responses and the botched response still going on by someone ill equipped to handle this. This is the reality, but you all just pretend it away like you did the failed North Korea and Iran responses. He's so much fun isn't he, the reality show. Very entertaining. This time it may very well cost you your life or the life of a loved one. These are epic failures. but as long as you're entertained right?

True, it doesn't. What makes someone a Democrat is when he seizes on an item for the - let's call it the "Tiny Hands" list - and uses that to make his argument.
In fact, I have not noticed where you have used a policy disagreement to demote Trump. No one cares about his business bankruptcies and there is no requirement that his tax returns be revealed, so that's never going to happen.

My point stands. It took courage to pull the rug out from under the economy in an election year, but he did it. And he did it when only about 100 people had died.
Trump is saving lives. Probably 10's of thousands of American lives.
When this is over and we are all vaccinated, America will roar again.

I wonder the same as you. I can't imagine why anyone would support Trump. He is both dishonest and dumb. I read through the responses yo your post and they are likely similar to what Germans would've said about Hitler until the around the beginning of 1942.

It lets them maintain their delusion that Trump voters are all some type of lunatic fringe and that everything will go back to "normal" if they just bash Christian stereotypes enough.
