Good for them, but it highlights how we need to start manufacturing things more at home instead of having to rely on many things from overseas.

Get ready to root for the New England Patriots. Seriously.

In a remarkable story reported by the Wall Street Journal’s Andrew Beaton, the Patriots’ team plane—emblazoned with the team logo, Lombardi trophies and a gargantuan “6X” to commemorate the team’s Super Bowl wins—became the focus of a humanitarian effort that brought more than a million masks into the United States for the fight against COVID-19.

States are attempting to acquire necessary personal protective equipment to battle the coronavirus pandemic, and one of the most essential items is N95 masks, necessary to protect the health of medical professionals fighting the spread of the virus and caring for those affected. Massachusetts located caches of masks in China; the question was, how to get them to America?

Great thing for them to do and thanks for supporting the nation.
That being said even if they were carrying the second coming of Christ back from the Middle East on their team plane....I still wouldn’t cheer for them.

I think that's something many people on both sides of the political spectrum can agree on...it's only people who live off stock dividends who might oppose this, but that is probably .1% of the population. Unfortunately, those people have driven public policy.

$2 per mask in this situation is hardly price gouging from that company. It's not a government company.

Have you looked at what others are charging in these times?

We should be glad that China managed to contain the spread in their country so we can quickly get masks and ventilators from that country. Lots of countries have export bans because they acted too late to stop the virus.

I think that private company does not believe in free stuff. Imagine if there was an export ban instead. We still have people in here who believe the virus situation is out of control in China, yet also believe that they send huge amounts of equipment abroad.

A virus does not care if you are Chinese or not. Being Chinese has nothing to do with it. Your racism and hatred are showing, bigly.
