Sounds like he lineing up a game of golf as we speak at his course in VA, charging the taxpayer over a grand each for golf cart rental. So he will be more cheerful.

This is a non-essential service if I ever saw one. Even in the midst of a pandemic Trump continues to pick American taxpayers' pockets.

"The 30-cart fleet, which the Secret Service is renting through the end of September, was described as being necessary in order to protect a "dignitary," although the president was not explicitly referenced by name

Surprisingly, while many nonessential businesses around the country have closed to prevent the spread of disease, Virginia's Trump National Golf Club remains open."

Nobody is a better pickpocket than dirt bag Pelosi who gave away $25 million to the Kennedy Center for Arts, who then turned around and fired everybody.

Wonder how many martini sipping soirees that $25 million will cover?

if one reads the entire article, it's just part of the stupid bureaucracy
Quote:
Secret Service spokesperson Cathy Milhoan clarified that the "emergency" contract referred specifically to "a need for expedited handling of the procurement due to deadlines within the agency's business processes."
it's $1,500 per cart through the end of September.

Trump hasn't played since March 8, and we can reasonably assume won't play in April. (reasonably, but who knows).

Golf is indeed allowed to be played most places throughout the US. Most courses have taken distancing measures which include 1 person per cart. Those restrictions might last through September, which might cause the course to need a higher of carts.
