Huawei donates medical supplies to Canada (even though Canada still keeps Meng Wanzhou, the CTO as hostage)

You didn't sue Canada.

The 2009 Influenza pandemic that originated in Canada (pH1N1) killed 9,000 to 18,000 Americans according to the CDC.

You didn't bomb Canada, either.

Except that hasn't happened and this is from China. China is where many new diseases originate. It's not coincidence or accident.

And to point something out I have been dealing with for some time now as a forester: our native forests are being decimated by imports from China. Emerald ash borer alone has killed billions of our native trees. Now we imported something that kills us.

There's no reason either to allow the greed of corporate America to continue exploiting unfree people in China as the modern replacement for slavery either. It's simply wrong on so many grounds. Moreover, the capability of being self-sufficient as a nation is important to national security.

Yes, and thus China was the first victim and fought on the front line. It bought time for others and accumulated experience and data. (For example, Iran adopted China's treatment protocols.)

Many people lost jobs in China too. Not to mention many factories in China will have to close.

There never should have been a chord to begin with. We were more than capable of always making everything here. Private Sector Sociopath, nutjob businessmen are to blame for this at the core If it wasn't for them there would be no lives lost, millions of jobs gone (Less crime would happen because of it) and America slowly descending into a 3rd world hell-hole. You want to blame someone for ALL of America's problems. Look no further than corporate executives.

Once again, China cost American workers livelihoods.

My dad always said, it is better when you can do it yourself.
Boy Scouts, taught being self sufficient.

In this disposable world... How disposable are you?
America Strong!
Americans were told about the virus and REFUSED to avoid getting it....so they blame the Chinese...do you know how pathetic that sounds.

With less than 5 % of the world’s population the US consumes 35% of global resources.

The US does not have an adequate population to produce what it consumes.

So you :

A) Import Labor, and/or

B) Import Stuff

Conversely, you could reduce your consumption, thus downgrade your lifestyle. Given the US economy is substantially consumer based that’s a big ouch.

Canada didn't lie and obfuscate, costing thousands more lives. You wouldn't be suing because the virus origonated there but in their gross if not criminal negligence in handling it.

China's economy will be far more damaged. I do expect Supply Chain Management to shift stuff from Asia to Mexico, and automate more to not need as many human hands to make mostly basic stuff.

China does deserve this.
