As someone who lives in St. John's county, I will.
When you go for a walk, you leave your house and walk. You might see a neighbor or two, who you interact with from a safe distance.
When people here go to the beach, they load up the car with their kids, drive to the grocery store for snacks, stop at Walmart for sunscreen, stop at the gas station to fill up, and then head to the beach. They interact with 40 to 50 people before they even get sand on their feet, then gather in groups and watch the kids play together.
IF people stay well separated (social distancing), being at a beach is likely one of the best places you can be to fight the virus. Warm weather-which most viruses don't do well in (and seems to be especially true with this one). Plenty of sunlight (UV) which kills viruses. And a whole bunch of salt water. As long as you don't act like a bunch of drunk college idiots and have a virtual orgy on the beach, it should be a very good place to be.
Plenty of beaches and parks around the nation have been closed because people show no responsibility and its not just college kids. Last week when the hospital ship came into NY Harbor crowds gathered around to watch like it was Operation Sail. Even with the closures I see people ignoring the guidance within their neighborhoods.
The sooner we do a hard shutdown as a nation the quicker we recover, these half measures aren't cutting it with half the states waiting until they get hit badly.

Here In California an anti government nutcase tried to sink the other hospital ship with a runaway train.

Same in Miami and will add parks to that also.
They originally left parks and beaches opened in Miami-Dade, but had to close them because everyone and their brother crowded the hell out of the places like it was a holiday.
There is a dog park here in town. The parking lot is closed but the gates to the fenced in areas are unlocked. Despite the place being as large as a football field, all the dog owners were standing next to each other.
We live in an area with lots of second homes. Folks from up north are escaping. And then they are having social gatherings in their community I guess money protects them from COVID-19
I see that Pastor at that Mega church in Tampa got a reprieve with DeSantis new soft stay at home order. He was arrested for holding services last week but the new order provides a waiver for religious services.
Evidently god will protect these people.

Sure - no work - no school - no bars malls or restaurants- shut them all down - they can read a book at home !

No - let see how many get sick ? I hope none but they already reported some. Rebellious man
Governor De Santis this week also exempted Florida churches from the mitigation constraints so they can still hold services. Even after everything that's happened, abroad and at home, he still refuses to act, and some Florida churches were going to defy any orders anyway. It's monumentally stupid, what they're doing. They can hold virtual services and protect themselves and their community, but they just don't want to make any changes, they just don't care.
They can also hold services in their parking lots. Most churches are already doing online services, but lets not forget the human interaction, especially those who are diagnosed with terminal conditions and already in hospice, beyond Covid-19. These are the worse of times for those folks.
We need to look beyond what our eyes can see.
