Sort of like in the movies "Mad Max" and "Beyond Thunderdome" where there really isn't any sufficient government body, and society is pretty much based on a free-for-all mentality.

How little you know!

I have found it is a waste of time to try and have a discussion with you. You are told over and over FACTS and you keep coming back with the same claims. You refuse to "learn".

if we lose another 20K people from CV it will likely equal the amount of people we'll lose due to the flu this year. People will forget about this and go back to living the same way they did before.

Post No more handshakes, high fives, or mosh pits.

No more handshakes or high fives. Mosh pits will be secretive invitation-only affairs.

A whole generation will grow up with a much larger and more formalized definition of "personal space", and much stronger taboos against invading another's personal space.

Many cultures will adapt the Thai belief about touching a person on the head, expanding it to anything above the shoulders -- touching a person on the face will elicit the same reaction as groping.

Yes Comrade Craigiri!! We Americans have way too many rights... Who really needs the First, Second, Fourth and Fifth Amendments... Let's just get rid of them and our lives will be far easier.

We can put our full faith in our elected/non-elected governmental officials... Stalin, Mao and Hitler were so misunderstood by the few freedom loving people of the world.

...We need to do this to reflect a modern nation of 330 million...

What on Earth can you be talking about?

Fact is I used to work for a company that helped students earn college degrees online. Fact is I know plenty about this subject by way of personal, professional experience. No doubt a good deal more than you do, so rather than just spout off again, why not explain what facts -- exactly -- I don't fully understand?

Otherwise, we can both go on forever like children accusing the other of silly unsubstantiated insults. How about you learn a little more mature approach to explaining yourself? That would be a refreshing change...

Government run health CARE is way different from government run health INSURANCE/PAYMENT systems. So while the VA (care) has its problems, Medicare (insurance) works very well (even if it does pay low for services and high for meds). Pricing can be worked out.

Medicare is pricey for seniors. They pay premiums each month which are deducted from their SS checks, and their copays are 20%. Also, prescriptions aren't covered unless seniors buy a supplemental private insurance policy.

Bandwidth is important. I know a family where the kids are online all day now while the teachers are overloading them with work. The work-at-home parents can't get online at the same time as the kids because of bandwidth problems.
