Are you suggesting that an outdoor market dealing in exotic animals with poor sanitation existed at Fort Dix, New Jersey when an epidemic of swine flu occurred?
The first documented case of Spanish Flu in the US was Private Gilbert at Fort Riley, Kansas.
Perhaps we should close all forts and abandon and raze all cities with "Fort" in the name, like Fort Wayne, Indiana and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Oh, wait, the HCOV-NH corona virus epidemic originated in New Haven, Connecticut.
Perhaps we should abandon and raze all cities that have "New" in their name, you know, like "New York."
Virus mutate. That's what they do. If you don't understand that, perhaps you need to refresh your knowledge of science.
Are you aware that there are Canine Corona Virus and Feline Corona Virus?
Perhaps we should exterminate all dogs and cats in the US, you know, just in case the virus mutates and jumps to humans and causes a pandemic.
Oh, wait, there's Bovine Corona Virus, too. We'll need to kill all cows in the US. We can drink goat's milk instead.
I almost forgot, there's a corona virus for rabbits, too. We'll have to hunt down and exterminate all rabbits.
Chickens are hardly exotic, but they have their corona virus and their own influenza virus.
You do understand that neither sanitary nor unsanitary conditions played any role in the transmission of avian flu and avian corona virus aka COVID-2 aka SARS, right?
Those were people who were around chickens feeding them and collecting eggs and they picked it up.
