This year it's going to be the immediate family and we will be doing it picnic style outside on the deck. Gonna be funny to say can I have another burger instead of pass the turkey/ham.

Today is also Palm Sunday. My wife was going to go to church. And I know the govt told me I wasn't allowed to go to church. So, I asked my wife if we were going and she kinda shrugged. I told her I'm going. I figured that the priest would be saying mass no matter if the church was full or empty. So we went and there were a few parishioners there. Spaced out in the pews. Most on their knees praying.

We sat near the front and said our prayers. The priest wasn't there and that disappointed me quite a bit. That he would listen to the govt over God. Afterwards we went up near the alter and picked up our blessed palms. My wife got some for her and my sister. We'll distribute them throughout the family since none of them were brave enough to enter the church against the governors orders.
Well thats good news, at least they were praying. Too many times when people are on their knees in the catholic church, its bad news for young boys.

You've got to stay 6 ft away from the bunny AND the eggs.

No fun at all. Maybe next year.

What does the death and resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ have to do with men who are unGodly and do unGodly works? Don't confuse religion with God's gift of eternal life for all who will come to Him.

Where's the hate for Christians? DIdn't see any hate for Christians. Lots of Christians are abiding by the stay home policy and supportive of it and believe that if you aren't you are a hypocrite for your 'pro life' stance.

We aren't religious. We don't do family gatherings for Easter because we are thousands of miles from family.

So we will do what we always do.

A truly spiritual person does not need the brick and mortar church to celebrate their faith & honor the most religious holiday for any Christian And only a superficial religious person thinks that it is critical to the celebrating of their faith.

So many ways to pray, honor this Holy Week.....and being in a physical building is the least important of all.
