Cry me a river. They all got $1200 yesterday and are collecting unemployment plus another $600 a week. Most of these losers are making more money now than they ever have in their non-essential lives. If times do get rough, they can trade an AR for a case of beans.
They are Darwin award nominees in waiting. Sadly they will likely spread the disease. Freedom isn't free if you die. Those that are protesting should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law under the Clear and Present Danger provision of the First Amendment. Hell, make it criminally negligent homicide if someone who contact traced to the protesters died. Gathering in groups not social distancing is a clear and present danger. Sadly, egoism is in America's DNA.
can you find it for me?

you're talking about a SC decision, right?

the constitutional guarantees of free speech and free press do not permit a State to forbid or proscribe advocacy of the use of force or of law violation except where such advocacy is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action
I agree they were stupid to not wear some type of mask. But does MI require the wearing of some face cover?
Or just the fact that Whitmer took it upon herself to completely eliminate people from leaving their homes except for the standard reasons. It doesn't APPEAR that it allows residents to be outside taking a walk, even if they're "social distancing".
IOW, what "lawless action" were they doing/promoting?
I don't wish this on anyone regardless of how stupid they are (I likely have it, and even as a mild case, it's scary - I'm a wind musician, and I'm suddenly physically unable to play at all anymore), but it saddens me that their decisions will put non-consenting people around them in essential places at risk.
so how did you get it? what are the symptoms? how many days in are you? How long have you been unable to play your instrument?
Seriously? Do you want to phone a friend or is that your final answer?
the 2019-2020 version of the vaccine is ~45% effective. Is that a reasonable figure for COVID, or what figure should we require in order to accept its annual existence?

But they still confer some immunity, reducing the severity of symptoms.

There are how many strains of the flu? They don't always predict which strains will be going around every year. That is why the flu shot is not always as effective as other years.
I'm not holding my breath that there will ever be a vaccine for CV-19 Have we ever developed a successful vaccine for any corona virus?
