Saw this nugget on AZ12's YouTube about Arizona's Operation Gridlock protest.

People, screw the city, and state authorities. Just open your business! I am opening my small retail business Monday. If the cops come, defend your rights withforce if needed. They are bankrupting our businesses and families.
What an idiot. He would likely be subdued if he tried to defend "his rights withforce." I am spelling it that way since it was how the idiot posted it.

He's going to lose. I just know it. Our government is too tyrannical to let him win. I'm sure he'll be arrested under some fabricated charges, like "disorderly conduct" . But dang it, I gotta give him props for at least trying! As opposed to submissively urinating like a scared puppy, which most Americans would do nowadays.

Still, that makes 10 states that are revolting against government tyranny. It'll be really cool if those (and more) states start seceding, like Southern states did back in 1861.

Swedish government > no Lock Down

Sweden claims coronavirus success after keeping country open, says herd immunity imminent
By KATE FELDMAN
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS |
APR 19, 2020

Criticized for refusing to lock down, Sweden’s top health official says herd immunity is inevitable and took credit for the slowing of coronavirus numbers.

“According to our modelers, we are starting to see so many immune people in the population in Stockholm that it is starting to have an effect on the spread of the infection,” Anders Tegnell, who led the charge to keep Sweden open, told local media. “Our models point to some time in May.”

Despite social distancing guidelines from the World Health Organization, Sweden has resisted lockdowns, instead keeping open schools, gyms, bars and restaurants and relying on citizens to caution themselves.

Tegnell’s comments echo thoughts about herd immunity, in which most of the population is infected with the assumption that those who survive will not be infected again, floated by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. But Johnson eventually folded to the advice of health officials and shut down the United Kingdom.

The WHO has also insisted that there’s no evidence yet that coronavirus antibodies leave the infected immune.

So far, 14,385 people in Sweden have tested positive for coronavirus. Of those, 1,540 have died.

But Tegnell said the death toll “is not a failure for the overall strategy.”

“It is a failure to protect our elderly who live in care homes,” he said.

A rational approach that I agree with. Unfortunately, the US was caught so flat footed we were forced into this situation due to lack of healthcare capacity, medical supplies and testing. Sweden also proves that people will frequent restaurants and other venues so long as they are not scared to death by the media.

However, I agree we need to start getting back to business so young people can get the virus and acquire immunity and those at risk should be isolated. Ok but the hospitals still have a lot of Covid patients. Can we really afford sending more because we are getting more and more cases? Remember about 20% of those with Covid-19 end up in the hospital. Also without a package to cover wages or her money monthly to those that are not able to work due to self quarentine or those in an unemployment donut hole, we are forcing more people back into the workforce that maybe should be isolating.
