Almost ALL news agencies are free for Covid19 news. Nothing diabolical.
It is New York Times, remember Trump told everyone they are fake news yesterday. We all know fake news is when a paper writes something negative about Donald Trump... Trump is Nixon but teen fold. So it has to be a nefarious plot by MSM to undermine Trump...
But yes, most places are making Covid-19 articles not in the typical pay-wall.
what's the point in checking the source. It's been well-noted that CBS used footage from Italy and sold it as NYC.
Just like they promoted the "nurse" who claimed they didn't have any masks, which was shown within 2 days to be an outright fabrication.
I'm not disputing Western Journal's reporting, just pointing out that it has a rightwing bias just as the New York Times and CBS have a leftwing bias. It's good to know something about who you use as a source.
No one could see what was coming.
No one DID see what was coming.
Except for all those who started warning the administration and Trump MONTHS AGO. BTW their names and their e-mails and other evidence are documented and provided in the detailed article, which many will, apparently, willfully ignore.

"The journalistic examination, by the NYT, reveals the president was warned about the potential for a pandemic, but that internal divisions, lack of planning, and his faith in his own instincts led to a halting response".
The NYT has made all articles related to COVID 19 free. Read it for yourselves, rather than rely on an anonymous poster -- who admits to not finishing it-- to interpret it, "Barr redact" or spin the conclusions of this jarring and authoritative work.
lol - I'm not anonymous. I've read the whole thing now. I also acknowledged that I only went through February. Everything I said was true - or perhaps you can point out a falsehood. Nothing in the rest of the article changed anything I discussed.
I would ask you justify this though:
Mr. Trump was presented with choices and he failed us along the entire way

The Pentagon says it never happened.
No one saw it coming. WHO has said they never saw it coming. So NYT blames it on "US Intelligence" because they know that no one will ever be able to prove NYT wrong. "US Intelligence usually says, "Classified", and this time they say, "No".
I don't believe that, but if it were true....have you noticed that it's the liberal cities and states that are most hard hit: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Michigan, Washington State, California?
Have you noticed that the red states are quickly catching up?
Louisiana - 8th in the nation
Florida - 9th
Texas - 10th
Georgia - 11th
San Francisco, hands down, the most liberal city in the US is faring quite well, so is Seattle. Also you can't really label a state. In CA most of the densely populated cities are liberal, with a lot of conservatives in the interior. Plus, you conveniently left of LA and PA which are in the top 10 of cases per million.
Plus, neither CA nor WA is in the top 10 for cases per capita. So hardly the hardest hit.
Yes, and you conveniently left off Massachusetts, DC, Rhode Island and Delaware. Massachusetts is a dumpster fire along with DC.

This is the dumbest post today. You are counting total cases not accounting for population. Two of those states are two of the three largest (population) states in the country.
