Anyone who is conscious can go to the hydroxyl chol drug information and read the potential side effects.
Anyone can see that not everyone is a candidate to take that med.
There is anecdotal evidence the drug combo works.
Up to individual doctors to evaluate candidates to take that drug combo.
there are no double blind studies required in the US to approve an off label use for a company to market. doctors are exempt and can in their discretion use drugs off label. All this is to prove efficacy, and SAFETY! It would be a disaster for the government to recommend a drug for the general population that caused harm. The commercials now being created...call 1900 lawyers if you have taken Hydroxy chlor.
If a drug company wanted to market an approved drug for an indication not approved by the FDA would be criminal.
So given these variables, it is not only reasonable but critical that the varied perspective of chosen medical experts is aired. Would hope not everyone agreed and a healthy public health/medical argument would take place.
This headline is another shot at Trump, in an effort to support the media/dem party narrative Trump's handling of the crisis is killing thousands. If the dems instigate another investigation in an effort to overthrow trump, their existence as a party has come to a disgraceful end.
Meanwhile Biden remains on media life support. the DNC campaigns by attacking Trump on Biden's behalf.
Bernie knew not to drop out as there was a chance Biden would actually be eliminated due to failing mental health. Dems are stuck with Bernie if the media cannot provide life support for Biden, the Trojan horse candidate.
Given the situation we are in, a difficult decision must be made to try last ditch efforts to save lives. that is not an easy task and hopefully raises lively argument. the decision is between doctor recommended individual use vs FDA broad spectrum mandate.

Not EVERYONE... Not all of us... Those who are sick. AND - It is also being tested as a preventative in those in very high contact, like medical people. That's also very hopeful. Not for everyone, for them... for now. Most people listening understand that. Those who don't... I don't know if it's a mental defect or if it's deliberate, but it's not helpful.
Peter Navarro is an economist, with no medical expertise whatsoever. NONE. Navarro is also a political apointee and has heavy loyalties to Donald Trump.
Dr. Anthony Fauci has been with the National Institute of Allergies & Infectious Diseases for 37 years. He has served under republican presidents Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush, George W Bush, Donald Trump, and democratic presidents Bill Clinton & Barack Obama. Fauci is 100% facts and zero 0% political.
Anyone who has half a brain cell would listen to Fauci over Navarro when it comes to all things coronavirus.
Why would a doctor be concerned with a country's economic status?
His concern is removing the virus. If the country tanks economically in the process, it's not his concern.
It's Trump's job to take all of the input and manage things as best he can.
The problem with this is that Trump is getting input on economics from whack jobs like Navarro and Larry Kudblow. Do a little research on Kudblow's record as an economics analyst and forecaster and tell me if you would take his advice. Here's a little sample:

There was no argument, there was a discussion. Fauci doesn't say it doesn't work, but as a doctor he wants to see a long range testing for proof positive before stating inequitably that it is a cure. He isn't arguing against it's use, just saying it hasn't been scientifically proven to be a cure. The article the OP posted is just more left wing rabble rousing and hate mongering.
