Not sure if it is still happening but I know the UK, Australia, not sure about Euro countries, would be given Isoniazide to prevent TB. Because of that their TB tests would always show up positive. Many exotic hoof stock, camels also show up TB positive, euthanize and their necropsy and tissue samples prove they were clean. Rule now is to retest rather than euthanize.


Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease is another reason claimed.
