It's hard to top the policies of the Nazi regime in Eastern Europe in the sense of it's purpose. America had its expansionist policies and it was known as "manifest destiny". The native Americans call it genocide today. It was no less. I think US policy in that era plays a close game in that both saw what needed to be done as a necessity.
Nazi policies entailed no less than killing by means of deprivation two thirds of the population in the occupied territories. It's little different.
Take it into today. America's unending WOT. How many Innocents have died or had their lives ruined, their potential stifled. How many doctors, physicists, scientists have died due to the consequences of this unending conflict. Millions.
The west is no better.

Some people were killed for sure. But not thousands. Nobody knows the actual number especially the foreign media.
If the Chinese government wanted to completely squash all the noise about Falun Gong and Uighur Muslims being kept in concentration camps, killed and their organs sold, all they have to do is give unfettered access to non-Chinese media. They won't do that. Instead they're kicking Western media out of their country.
China's government pretty much always has a whole lot of horrifically disturbing things to hide.
By the way, your propensity to defend absolutely everything terrible that the Chinese government has ever done is causing your mask to slip. You can claim you're not here at the behest of the Chinese government, but you never have anything bad to say about them and even seem to be super-enthused by the massively racist Chinese Manifest Destiny shtick.
Because western media are 100% negative toward China government, with lots of false or exaggerated information. Anyone with a sense of fairness will argue against such propaganda. Otherwise you guys have no chance to see the other perspective at all
In China, however, all the mainstream media are almost 100% pro-government, so I post some negative things on Chinese social media.

BTW the Japanese WWII criminals are all worshipped in their national shrine. (China and Korea protested many times.)

What they always try to avoid also is the circumstances of the episode in favor of the result. There's several different versions of what led up to the incident one of which is a panicked crew onboard an APC that had been hit by a Molotov cocktail running through the crowd. If I was the driver of that APC and that happened I would do the same thing. It's not like a crowd of lunatics is going to have my health as a concern now is it?
They had used welding fence on apartment floors and barred some doors where people were found to be infected. The bars allowed enough space to get slip food or supplies in but not to be able to leave the apartment. At least that part is true, and believable. This is China, it would not be a shocker for them to forcefully quarantine like that.
Being quarantined like that with a hot Chinese chick, I wouldn't complain.

No it's not hard to find countries without an expansionist policy currently. Brazil, Viet Nam, Russia, Indonesia, Chili, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Peru, Japan, Italy, Spain, Portugal and many others.
The US is different, ask the powers that be why we do what we do and the answer you get is "Because we can".
Brazil is a very powerful country in it's neighborhood. They could beat up just about anyone in their part of the world. I don't see them fighting the Argentinian.
