Yes, I think the leftists’ repeated attempts to defend China and/or the WHO, or at least minimize its deception and/or negligence, while simultaneously focusing the blame on the American president has backfired.
I haven’t seen many leftists defending China over this.

The latest is that the pangolin, a prehistoric ant eater seems to be the carrier of this bug- maybe- It’s been mentioned that they might eradicate the species. The conditions of how they jump to humans can be greatly diminished by the world insisting something be done as far as hygiene. Good luck as some places don’t even have fresh water. I think the studies have shown the zoonoses viruses came from camels, bats, pigs, rats, cats- fleas,mosquitoes -and other parasites. So blaming one country for this one - ok - but not going to fix the situation long term. And to blame the Democrats is hilarious nonsense.

That hasn't been confirmed. Many of the initial cases never entered the wet market. It could, for example, have come from some farmer who was collecting bat guano, or who interacted with a bat in his barn. Said farmer may easily have been asymptomatic and spread it around.

Good to see that. China needs to be ostracized by the entire world. We also need to send Chinese nationals here on visas back to China.
When you think about it, all those horrible viruses that have wreaked havoc all have come from China in recent times.
7 of 10 have come from Asia, and 5 of 10 came from China if I recall correctly.
Cut off all tourism, give businessmen and students 6 months to wrap up business and study here, and then out they ALL go. No more coming in either...not matter where the flight came from, if they are Chinese nationals, deny entry.
Same treatment for any countries that have wet markets.
