Tough call. But sometimes governments need to react quickly to a disaster, so you can't afford to hamstring them too much.

Yes, but we're seeing the flip side. Too much power with too little accountability.

That, or get enough people to ignore them...including law enforcement and military, hopefully.

If Trump calls off the fall elections or makes any attempt to curtail voting, then I intend to follow this advice:

You do realize the federal government doesn't call or run the elections, and has no power to call them off. That power rests solely with the states.
