Trump Calls WHO "China Centric

Throughout the early weeks of coronavirus, Trump repeatedly praised China’s handling of coronavirus. Boasting about himself and often saying he and China had totally beaten down coronavirus with merciless force and efficiency, Trump kept insisting he was successfully collaborating with China.

You want to know who contradicted him and often? Joe Biden.

Quote:
On Feb. 25, Trump said that China was “working very, very hard” to contain coronavirus, adding that “they’re getting it more and more under control,” which led Trump to conclude that for the United States, coronavirus was a “problem that’s going to go away.”

Trump repeated this sentiment the next day, claiming that because of collaboration with China, coronavirus is not “getting larger, it’s actually gotten smaller.”

By contrast, on Feb. 26, Biden directly rebutted this line, saying: “I would not be taking China’s word for it. I would insist that China allow our scientists in to make a hard determination of how it started, where it’s from, how far along it is.”

Biden had voiced that same sentiment the day before, insisting that he would “insist, insist, insist” that China show more transparency about what was going on with coronavirus.

This pattern persisted throughout the early weeks, with Trump repeatedly praising China’s handling of it and confidently claiming China had it under wraps. And Joe Biden warning America.

Biden repeatedly said we should take coronavirus far more seriously, demanding that Trump let experts take over the response.
We now know who was right about all of this, and his name isn’t Donald J. Trump.

So, phma the omniscient, what exactly was Trump right about, so early and so often?

And as far as 2024, you appear to have about as much knowledge of the United States and our Constitution as Trump does...which is very little.

Another leftist defending WHO & China. What's for dinner? Bat soup or Doberman?

Trump is right.
The Left hates Trump cuz most... Not all the time, he's right on those "sensitive issues" and he's not afraid of stating facts in a non-political way... Which for some odd reason(s), drives the Left crazy.

Trump is right.

The WHO, by accepting China's bogus reports on the virus, essentially excused them for bringing this pandemic onto the world.

China has the WHO in it's back pocket.

Inexcusable.

Yes. ^^^^That is it.

China and the WHO were and are complicit in conspiring to fail to timely disclose and fail to fully disclose pertinent facts re Covid--in pari delicto ("of equal fault").

The full and timely disclosure of all information they had re Covid could have saved people's lives the world over and lessened the suffering so many have and will experience re the Covid crisis.

I don't care which party you belong to, it will be world-class idiocy to financially cripple the WHO.

Hey stupid! You've made Trump's point! China needs to pay as much, or more, than the US and the WHO will be doing just fine!

Trump said he's tired of the US being taken advantage of by the WHO and UN.

He said, "How stupid were the people who stood here [at the podium in the White House] to let us be taken advantage of," referring to prior presidents and administrations.

I'm thrilled to hear Trump plans to stop all or part of US money flowing to the WHO and place a wedge between the China-WHO love fest.

Note: It was my goal to get all of the quotes exact. Apologies if I am off a word or two.

The following is only my opinion:

President Donald Trump has my vote 2020................
