No other Press Corp since the invention of television has treated any other President in such a blatantly bias and adversarial manner since before they were even sworn in.

In the case of Obama, press conferences were more of a media sponsored fan club and pep rally.

I remember how the press asked one softball question of Obama after the other, and then one time Major Garrett asked a very valid question about Obama’s decision about something. Obama, used to the white gloves treatment by the press, was angry and actually scolded him like a child: “Major, you know better than that!”

That’s a long way of saying that I wished the press treated our current president with even 25% of the love fest they demonstrated for the previous one. Instead, it’s one gotcha question after the other, rudely talking over him, and doing everything in their power to make him look as bad as they possibly can.

Correct. And he couldn’t tolerate anything other than reporters salivating over him like teenage girls at a Beetles concert in 1964.

I agree.

Btw, I wish that the White House and the CDC would issue just one bulletin per day that just says what is NEW regarding COVID-19 projections and steps being taken to combat it. It is sad that we, the public, must go to several websites to try to glean important info, and that is partly why there is so much bad info out there now.

That's right. If Trump wasn't such an idiot he'd swat away hostile questions like a good batter fouls off bad pitches. Instead he throws a hissy fit and looks like a fool.

The questions asked of Trump are nothing of the sort.

That's their kind of president, a soft-spoken, beta male, who, like them, thinks the US is irretrievably broken, and like DJT, needs to be taken down a few notches.

What a lot you are.

Where do I start ?

In no particular order of importance:

1. Criticizing Trump doesn't make someone a leftist, nor an Obama supporter, nor a supporter of any of those 'Obama things' that you listed. nor a Democrat, nor someone who thinks the U.S. is irretrievably broken, nor someone who thinks the U.S. needs to be taken down a few notches. It just makes the person someone critical of Trump. Everything isn't 'Us vs. Them'.

2. Trump loves parts of America. One example...he recently didn't think that Pence should call back Governors who hadn't been appreciative enough.

3. At least you admit that Trump is an unfiltered loudmouth (unless your intention was to point to an unnamed group of unfiltered loudmouths and exclude Trump from that group ). Trump is an adult. He isn't a child. There are other templates of being an Alpha male (other than being an unfiltered loudmouth) that would be more appropriate for a POTUS. He's capable of modeling his behavior in that way to better meet what the office asks of him. He's occasionally revealed that capability. Other than that, he just doesn't choose to harness enough discipline to do so and/or just plain doesn't care.

Seriously...why do serious journalists even go...or stay beyond 10 minutes by which time he's used every word in his limited vocabulary at least 3 times.

Cuomo comes across as a statesman. Trump comes across like some Gambino capo standing outside the Ravenite Club.
