I'd rather have Trump then someone who's permanently quarantined due to frailty of body and mind.

Let's see, a sociopath with nuclear weapons or a virus. I think we have a better chance with the virus. At least it's predictable.

Very obvious false dichotomy you got there, xb.

You should look it up.

Here. I'll help.

Good thread-and utterly disgusting how many would prefer more dead Americans than a real leader in the White House. Unfortunately, not unexpected given the very vocal statements of many prominent Dems and media leaders. If you want more proof that far too many liberals are unstable sociopaths, this is it. (btw, subtract 1 from the "coronavirus eliminated" count, I voted before reading for liberals only).

We have learned that the virus is far less lethal than thought-and at the same time, far more infectious. Most people will be exposed over the next month or 2, most will never know they've had it, and the virus will fade away as we reach herd immunity (which is one reason Dems are so opposed to removing "lockdowns"). Trump will be recognized for his leadership in defeating the worst threat to the US since WWII (due to the hype from the MSM whipping up FUD over this bug). The DOW will boom, being back to a new record by the end of summer, shortly before the election (and has already recovered about half the losses suffered). People will be back to work and enjoying social interaction.

The results...
Trump reelected in a landslide
GOP takes the House
Nancy FINALLY resigns in shame
AOC and the squad lose their House positions and go back to bartending
The GOP ends up with a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate
The media and the progressive movement continues their 4-year temper tantrum as the public continues to ignore their antics and recognize them as "fake news".

I want him to lose because he gave the fed a blank check to bail out everything. It's not real capitalism he supports but corporate socialism. As for covad-19, I'd be willing to be a bitcoin or three it turns out to be a non-event where we shut down everything for nothing, that a lot of people get infected with little symptoms and that a good 20% of the population already have antibodies for it, and if we opened up everything right now we'd likely be just fine.

In fact we might end up killing more people because we aren't allowing elective medical procedures right now. Hypothetical situation.. a person has a pain somewhere or some mysterious symptoms they want to get a CT scan to check, but doctors say come back in 3 months, we aren't doing those... 3 months later person is found to have cancer that has spread.. they should be able to sue for millions for not getting the elective test they wanted/needed earlier because all hospitals were needlessly shut down over a virus that has a very low fatality rate. No matter what you do, someone suffers when you keep everything shut down like this. Most nurses I talk too say the hospitals have been empty since this started, not full, and now there's going to be a huge backlog of appointments going out 6 months just to see a specialist because they couldn't get their appointments in during this manufactured crisis.

Some people have such a narrow focus to their thinking they can't think about the domino effect that occurs by locking everything down, that the antidote (which is not even needed) does more harm than the sickness.

What I disagree with that you said is that covid 19 is turning out to be a "non-event".
The vietnam war was roughly 20 yrs long. We lost approximately 47 or 48 thousand Americans over that time.
This virus has lost more American lives in 2 months than we lost in the Vietnam war.
THAT is not a non-event.
Also, many that have not died are getting blood clots & possibly losing limbs which forever changes their life.
Before this virus is over, most of us will know someone who gets it or has passed because of it.

Yeah, I'd rather suffer through four more years of a criminal nutjob President than see tens of thousands more people die. Do I get a prize?
