This is a very strange virus. Very odd, how South Dakotans have a lower percentage of ever being admitted to a hospital for diagnosed COVID than a person in Queens dying of it.
South Dakota ever hospitalization rate, those ever hospitalized with COVID is 5.2% (33 out of 626 cases ever hospitalized)
Queens moralty rate rounded to the nearest tenth of a percent is 6% (1,848 deaths out of 31,044 cases)
Queens has a 30% hospitalization rate, compared to South Dakota which has a 5% hospitalization rate.
Wyoming has had 261 cases and is at zero mortality, that will change likely sadly but amazing how Wyoming has had 261 confirmed COVID cases and yet to have one death as afternoon of April 11th.
I think we already decided it was clean living and good jeans, uh, genes.
No, it's the jeans. Everyone in SD wears Gap jeans but in Queens they think Gap is out of style and wear Levi's. Levi's cause people who wear them to get Covid 19--hence the higher rate of hospitalization.
Might have something to do with economic inequality as well.
Probably driven by some cultural issues too.
Democratic big cities have very high economic inequality, it will get worse.
Those on the margins in a state like South Dakota and Wyoming likely still have their own single-family home, they do have apartment complexes but single-family homes on decent sized lots are the norm.
People of the same income in NYC likely live in a building with a thousand or more people in a project full of mold, sporatic sewage issues with viruses spreading via the shower drains, exhaust fans and HVAC systems.
In NYC, lots of tycoons with the federal reserve turning on the printing press just to buy their mutual funds and mortgage backed securities along with a tremendous amount of people living in absolutely squalor where one Coronavirus cough or sneeze goes into the HVAC systems and in the shower drains of buildings with thousands of people packed like sardines with a large percentage of those residents very vulnerable means a massive petri dish for any outbreak of respiratory pneumonia.

But Democratic cities are where most of the jobs are - hence the high demand for housing - which drops the standard of housing people are willing to accept that you despise here.
If you want to be a farm boy and push tracker trailers, South Dakota and Wyoming will be for you. Otherwise, tough luck.
are you actually 2 or 4 different usernames that posts the same type of inane comparisons?
Who gives a flying flip about this - why not bother with comparing CA to NY, and then maybe we can figure out what CA has been "getting right".
He has been using these insane comparisons for a while now. Any state controlled by liberals will show up in a post by him - bashing them about what they got wrong in his eyes, but not what they got right.
