The richer countries are going to have to give the poor countries money to help eradicate it.
Money well-spent now in fighting the virus wherever it occurs, will save us all many lives and great amounts of money, in the long run. If we and many other nations that have the resources to help less affluent ones do not act globally, our economies could be damaged far more. It's all in our self-interest, even though it's the humanitarian thing to do, first and foremost.

But we offered them supplies, and the Iranian regime proudly rejected them - saying they don’t need America’s help. Now you think we should fork over big bucks, knowing that they will use at least some of that money to fund terrorism?
Here’s the analogy: your heroin-addicted son is going hungry, which you see. You offer to bring him over a cartful of groceries, which he REFUSES - saying he doesn’t need your help. Now your neighbor says that you should give cash to the heroin addict, and liberals jump on the bandwagon to say it’s the humanitarian thing to do to give money to a drug addict who is going hungry. Nope. This is a time you've got to realize the politics have to be dropped. We have to help these poor countries with virus containment or it is just going to come back and slap first world countries in the face again.
Trump has made Iran a lot poorer with the sanctions being put back, so it's partly our fault they need this.

For goodness sake. Look up the story on that money. It was THEIRS. The world Court was going to make the countries holding it give it to them, with interest. No country had a banking relationship with Iran due to all the sanctions.

Most people have no clue what money really is, what it is designed to do, how it works, and how it doesn't work.
Most of those "countries" are monetary sovereigns, they can create their own reserves, and distribute legal tender through their banking systems and to their people.
