Not a flattering report on Trump's "decision" to let the governors make their own decisions, "calling their own shots"

I wonder if DJT called WA Gov Inslee, the snake, or just do a Zoom meeting?

Why does DJT put himself into cornors?

then you tell me, what is this administrative branch? Do you know? Who's in charge of it?

Executive and the Donald is in charge of it. Do you still need the flow chart?

Having full power, means accepting full blame when things go off track. He accepts no blame, even when he hoses things up. No he doesnt have FULL power over states governors. He thinks he does. He has been told different.

Trump loves to talk a big game about how omnipotent his authority is, but does very little to exercise that in a practical and effective way. That's because he doesn't want any possible blame if stuff doesn't go his way.

The buck doesn't stop here...unless it's money in his bank account.

She said "administrative branch," but she meant "executive branch." They're semantically the same.

You know that.

Exactly. Not every state has the same circumstances, which is why it's left up to the states to decide which measures to take.

Not everywhere in the USA is like a congested NYC. Florida is the third most populous state, and yet they have a tiny fraction of the problems they have in New York and New Jersey. Nothing was stopping the Governor of NY from announcing mitigation actions weeks before the feds decided to make the same recommendation for the entire nation

The Governors made to tough decision to minimize theeconomy to essential services as they grappled with the pandemic. Trump is trying to create the perception that he has been in charge all along while most people know he dropped the ball. When the tough decisions needed to be made he was MIA..there were no recomendation then..he has been playing catch up all along and he has been all over the place..no steady and dependable hand.#weak and incompetent

Q: How do you know when Trump is trolling?
A: When he opens his mouth

He's so good at it, it almost makes me forget he broke his promises about reducing spending and non involvement in the Middle East.
