Will Democrats accept this behavior when national gun laws go into effect?

Sometimes the EPA relies on state agencies for data and assistance. When a Republican governor orders the state agencies to not share data or cooperate with the EPA, will Democrats approve?

2) Newsome calling California a nation-state only adds to this divisive rhetoric. Will they approve when Biden is in charge if a Republican governor pushes this rhetoric a little further?

3) States saying they can trump the national government on reopening the economy. Have they tried to coordinate better through the national government? They have the most legitimate case here out of the three, but this is just more of establishing that states have freedom from the national government.

I hear Democrats claim the demographics favor them going forward, that they've essentially got a guaranteed future of national control. So do these states' rights set a harmful precedent to their future control?

When the federal government is failing, states should have the ability to get around them.

It's decentralization, it not only ensure states rights, this ensure we have a functioning government even if the top level is completely inept.

Cuoma didn't ask Trump to fix New York State problem -- he asked for help -- like all states do in all kinds of crisis.

Hypocrites. Texas has flooding -- give them what they want.

New York State has a crisis -- dam dems asking for things.

Oh he's going to phone each governor and give them the power to decide for their own state.....lol......

Chaotic, erratic, pathetic.

I don't mind if Trump gives us a cohesive plan that is thoughtful, well planned and considers the surrounding communities etc.......
What does that have to do with my comment about the Democrat party not being proponents of states rights unless there's a political gain to be made by suddenly finding this repressed sense of civic pride at a very convenient time?

In fact, I think you actually proved my point. At least the part about them bringing it up only when there's a political gain to be made. Try to find them talking about states rights when it comes to firearm laws or abortion.
