I have a "novel" proposal; those that feel that way can shelter as long as they want. Have their groceries delivered, and everything else they need. Everyone else can do what feels safe.

What's wrong with that?

If everything is open for anyone who wants to go out, and they end up spreading the disease even more, then how much longer will it take for this virus to subside? I don’t see much social distancing on TV among those people who live in “open” areas. Or even on the beaches. I noticed at the protest at the Michigan Statehouse that those people were packed tight in there, many not wearing masks. There will always be those folks who are the “you’re not going to tell me what to do” types. They most likely will not follow any rule.

Those are the people that are making this situation MUCH tougher than it has to be!

The more they go out in public and ignore distancing guidelines, the longer places will be shut down. They cannot see this though, they only think in the short term.

Exactly. Things will open, the virus will spike, things will close. Wash, rinse and repeat. Viruses don't care who anybody is. It will run its course as long as there is a host out there.

They live in a free country and think a minor inconvenience is repression and dictatorship. They have obviously never experienced real repression in their lives.

Many people DO NOT believe that many of these governors actually want to lift the lock-down in their state.

In NJ for example, the governor says May 15, then we'll see, then we are going by the numbers which are being BS-ed higher meantime telling Tucker Carlson that The Bill Of Rights are above his pay grade and that he didn't even consider it!
NJ's that I've spoken to recently and even this morning are in agreement with me as they're .

In MI, they don't want to see/hear a mommy dictator disciplining them as her children when she lengthens their lock-down just because people protested as is their right to.
THIS WILL NOT END WELL IMO!
