No we don't make a lot of money considering the area we live in. That's not taken into account though.
You make more than $200,000. That’s a lot of money. I’m sure there are people in your area living on a third if that, and it comes across really bad to them when they hear affluent people saying “$200,000 is not a lot of money because of where we live.” All it does is make them think that the affluent liberals are out of touch with the working-class people, who are the biggest voting bloc. It’s one of the biggest reasons you lost the election.
P.S. I remember when I was a Democrat and went to a Democratic fundraiser. They were all affluent, and saying how can we pay teachers $80,000 and expect them to live on THAT? I was part of the group, and expected of course to agree. When I said that I thought $80k was a good salary, they started berating me about how unsympathetic I was to people earning modest salaries. The kicker: I was earning only $70k at the time, and actually quite comfortable. I distinctly remember that evening as being the start of my turn away from the Democratic Party.
Should we call you a wambulance ?
" I don't want my stimulus check to be soiled by Trump's disgraced name. " Grow up. Don't like where the money came from...donate it.

No, the cut off is $150k for a married couple. Really not all that much if both are working.

It depends on where you live. The phase out starts at 150k for a couple. If you live in a high COL, high income area, that’s not a whole lot.
Not true. The cut-off for a married couple is $198,000. They just won’t receive the maximum amount of the stimulus check.
Really ? I didn't know that. I stand corrected.
